Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Nursing of Children Network (NCN) and the Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN), I want to thank you for showing an interest in our local chapter. We are a group of dedicated pediatric nurses that look to make a difference even after our work is “done.” I am happy that you are considering joining us, or that you have already joined us in this endeavor. I am excited to see what creative ideas can come about as we collaborate at our upcoming conference and beyond.
I joined SPN and NCN because I want to make a difference and as a nurse, I know I have the platform to do so. I joined to connect with other like-minded individuals as we work towards a common goal of improving pediatric nursing care and streamlining education for our current generation of patients and nurses as well as future generations. I joined to work with you all to influence change and as president, I want to work with all of you to help turn our shared vision into a reality!
Why did you join? What are your goals as you consider joining? What is it that you hope to achieve through this enhanced partnership? I would love to hear from each of you!
